Hi, I'm Amie
I believe in providing a holistic approach to care while helping children and families navigate the complexities of life with empathy as well as practical education and supports.
I founded Head Heart Hands Therapy & Education because I recognised a gap in the services and support available – especially for parents and families. Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to working predominantly in family and youth-based support services and my experience includes crisis care, counselling, developing and delivering programs in schools and presenting to organisations and groups.
My approach involves encouraging mental fitness, healthy relationships, and helping parents & educators understand the long-term impact of today’s actions on future generations.
My life has provided me with a wealth of experience and expertise. From being a teen mother, facing family court, blending a family, and navigating single, step, and foster parenting – to experiencing the tragedy of losing a child, I have lived through some of life’s best and most challenging situations. These experiences have not only shaped who I am but have also given me first-hand knowledge of helping others, including my own children and family, through unexpected tragedies and mental health challenges.
I have developed services and programs aimed at supporting families and communities, delivering inspiring workshops and educational sessions to inspire a better future.
It can be overwhelming to try and find the right support. If a phone call is just too much, send me a message and we can chat about your situation and needs.
Providing a holistic approach to care
Our therapeutic and educational programs are based on the Head, Heart, Hands philosophy. This approach ensures that every aspect of our services are grounded in a holistic understanding of how we learn and grow physically, mentally and emotionally.
“Fine art, is that in which the hand, the head, and the heart of man go together.”

HEAD - Educate
You’ve probably heard the saying, “Knowledge is power,” and we couldn’t agree more! Education not only empowers us to understand ourselves and others better, but it also helps us make more informed decisions for the future. At HHH, we strongly believe that our thoughts shape the quality of our lives, so we’re committed to inspiring mental fitness and positive change through the power of education.
