Hi, I’m Amie

I am passionate about how we are educating and parenting the next generation. As parents and educators we must always remember;

We are not just care-taking today’s children,

We are influencing tomorrows adults”

I believe how we do this will have a significant impact on our society as a whole.  Strong & secure individuals lead to strong & secure families which lead to strong & secure communities!

Over the past 10 years I have worked predominately in family and youth based support services, have delivered programs in over 50 schools and regularly present to organisations and groups. I have gained a life time of experience and expertise through some of life’s best and worst situations being a teen mother, blending a family, single, step and foster parenting as well as tragically loosing a child. I have first hand experience of assisting others and my own family through unexpected tragedies and mental health challenges.

I have founded Head Heart Hands Parenting & Education and have developed a range of professional and holistic programs which seek to understand, educate and empower the whole person.

At one time of another; our intelligence, our emotional well-being or our physical capacities are considered, educated and inspired however they aren’t always done in support or understanding of one another. I want to assist parents, schools and communities to understand how children develop physically, emotionally and spiritually as well as how their environment and support network fits together to produce opportunities for growth.

I am very experienced working with children and teens and am confident dealing with varied mental health experiences and family life challenges.

I am passionate about working with individuals and their families as well as delivering inspiring and engaging well-being workshops and education sessions to assist families, schools, churches and communities.
